Divorce
The divorce dissolves the marriage. Only a competent Court can dissolve the marriage of parties by way of the judgment of divorce, followed by the issuance of a certificate of divorce
Separation
The separation as to bed and board often, called in the common language “separation”, can be “de facto” (when there are no legal proceedings) or pronounced by the Court (when there are legal proceedings filed) by way of a judgment of separation as to bed and board
Mediation
If you are already separated or if you have taken the decision to separate or to divorce, you need to find a solution as to the consequences of your separation or divorce.

If you have been convicted in the past of a criminal offense, you have a criminal record, which will “show up” at a security check. If you wish your name and reputation to be “cleared”, you need to apply and obtain a “pardon”
